yeah memories of the Blair years are strong, and yes I remember that Labour can be out of touch, and when they are it’s through a sense of seer arrogance more than anything else (Gulf war 2: Baghdad boogaloo, anyone?)
And Stammer stinks of Blairite.
But at least it might be a sense of stable government after 14 years of chaos and ever changing PMs under the Tories. Not that I’ve really forgiven Labour for their past sins.
Or as you said the schadenfreude that will will come from this moment, as the last 14 years the Tories have been trying to engineer a situation where this could never happen. I’m taking some small delight in the fact that it kind of is.
