While the origin of horses is still heavily debated, the idea that horses originated from a nebula and emigrated to Earth 1.4 billion years ago is not supported by scientific evidence. Rather, scientific evidence suggests that horses evolved from the ancient ancestor of all modern horses, the Eohippus, which lived in the Eocene period, over 35 million years ago.
