Unfortunately, yes they are taking the server hardware. We will be fine though, as I am surrounded by very amazing system administrators (one of them is Jade who has her own colocation company, another is Mori). The sharkey project will have as much resources as it needs allocated to it. Free of charge, Jade is just going to use the expenses as a tax write off for now as we don't want to stifle development efforts but if sharkey ends up making enough money to cover the hardware + associated pay for contributors that may change. It really depends on how it goes, right now donations are going to contributors only and things like the domain renewal which is going to be around the 20th this month.
