Without some sort of sorting/filtering/searching/better lists to use to consume your timeline, relying merely on boosts and a chronological timeline is an awkward middle ground that #mastodon just isn't ready/capable of providing.

I think this is a house/dinner party of a social media, not a replacement for twitter etc.
