Pretty great remake, fantastic music, great story, great quality of life updates, but it still has the same pitfalls of the original game (I didn't play that so just from reading other people comparing both), the pacing is awful, barely anything happens in the first half of the game main story wise, and tartarus, the only dungeon in the game, is still fairly boring after a while climbing in any given day, despite being probably over half your playtime, still a great game imo
