Our USB-C port feature disables USB-C data while locked by default. If you look at our thread, you'll see Graykey appears to exploit fastboot firmware rather than the OS. Their technique stopped being able to get much in April 2024. We can't harden firmware against it ourselves but we can eliminate the small amount of device encrypted data via a boot authentication toggle. This has been a planned feature for a while.
