"I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet." -- I Timothy 2:12
"Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says." -- I Corinthians 14:34
“‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable." -- Leviticus 18:22
These verses, among others, keep me from believing that Christianity holds the whole truth. I *learn* from it, but I have long moved away.
