That raises the paradox of tolerance - fascinating, but too deep a discussion for here & now.

The point I was trying to make is that Jamaat-e-Islami is a deeply illiberal theocratic party - and that while they're supporting democracy and anti-censorship in Bangladesh (a good and noble goal), fedi folks should be very cautious about which individuals and groups they're supporting.

It'd be a tragedy to be fighting illiberal theocrats in the US while supporting them in Bangladesh.
