While we (quite rightly) moan & get annoyed with our #energy suppliers, the system that enables their profiteering & the continued power of the #fossilfuel lobby to shape energy #politics, its worth pausing to recall that on the continent of #Africa around half the population (that 640mn people according to the African Development Bank) have no access to #power at all....
sometimes the old criticism of 'first world problems' is more than just a remark thrown into an argument to raise a smile!
