I submitted an article to “The Startup,” an in-house Medium publication. After 22 days of not hearing a response, I finally did a little digging and found an obscure post that said if you didn’t hear from them in 36 hours you should consider it rejected. Their own platform allows pubs (I own two) can reject a story with the click of a button.
So you read the story, declined it, but can’t be bothered to respond at all. Then when I post it elsewhere you boost it.
