The riverbed they're walking on in the photo in this image is the one that goes right by my village about 250km upstream. It is an accurate representation.
We have no water. There is no water on the mountains. We've drilled two wells and there is no water in the ground either.
THERE IS NO WATER.
This week is going to be a mad scramble to get the rainwater capture system in place. Next week I need to source and install a whole-home R/O system coming off of that rainwater capture because within less than a month the village is going to run out of water, and we don't know when - or IF - the water level in the retaining pond will ever be back up above minimum safe.
