This trick is designed to reinforce the drawer bottom, which has started to sag a bit. This creates a 'sandwich' of two materials, which effectively compress the bottom of the drawer into flatness. PET-CF was probably overkill in this application: PETG-CF, or heck, _wood_ likely could have worked. However, I have limited supplies of PETG-CF, and I'm not a woodworker, and this PET-CF wasn't being used anyway.
