You haven't responded to "you're being fed propaganda". 50% of the people in congress are millionaires and the American people are not 50% millionaires, so the composition of congress, I suggest, has fuck-all to do with the composition of the country, sorry. I suggest you're only looking at things from a single perspective, and not one that informs you very well.
The entire political establishment is geared to the interests of the rich. The people who would correctly represent the interests of the people are not in congress BECAUSE THE RICH WON'T ALLOW IT. To /then/ say "the way it looks is the way it really is" is just to capitulate to the rich. I don't care what the votes of /those they'll let into the house and senate/ are, because those people are ALL CORRUPT. Those votes have NOTHING to do with representing the interests of the people.
