3. A Python script monitors dmesg for /dev/sda messages to detect when a new disk is inserted, and then use xdotool to keyboard inject "ctrl-2" to cause MiniVMac to mount the disk.
So the only thing I lack now is a floppy drive that can eject itself. That will have to wait for another day.
