I’m not convinced locale is even close to being the sole factor in Amazon’s slow delivery speeds anymore. IMO, The Amazon Prime membership fee is now nothing more than paying for one year of shipping in advance - at THEIR convenience.
I live in safe (and easy to navigate) neighborhood, but I finally joined Walmart+, so I don’t have to wait an average of 4-7 days to get something I need - even if it was an item advertised with 2 day delivery.
