This is the way I understand it (not an expert) :
Default - assume valid is on, all data including segwit is downloaded, but only validates blocks above assume valid block height.
If a node stores the data, but never validates it and assumes a huge chunk of it is valid, is it a full node? Fully archival node? Partially trusted fully archival node?
