Foxes were out last night
Their footsteps a rumba
Dancing their passion
Into the bushes
Steamy with love.
Its bitterly cold,
A spectacular sunrise
Into a cloud-banded sky
Shimmering like silk
Lilac, pomegranate and rose
The snowfields glowing
With reflected light
The crunch of ice and grit
And I navigate my road
With care and balance
Life's journey is lit
By pillars of gold
And the gold in my snowfields
Is blinding and beautiful.
