I could anecdotally compare my 20 year old fridge in my garage with its less than 10 year counterpart that is sitting next to it with a non functioning ice maker. Does it suck because it was doing too much? No. It is still just a fridge. It sucks because someone thought they could pull off putting rhe ice maker inside of the freezer and then foisted it out to customers then wants to take zero responsibility for it. And dishwashers...
