and yeh, standard TFT based displays like IPS/VA panels put out a lot of blue even when you turn on night mode, whereas OLED and similar emissive tech doesn't.. and you can see it in the ambient light around the devices they still put out a lot of blue sideways, and most of them don't have colour control on the illuminators

idk why though, would be so simple for the illuminators to at least be made into RGB instead of broad spectrum and be able to control the color of the ambient, but ... yes, doesn't exist, still
