Genuinely, thanks for the education. I just looked up EFT, ACH and will benefit from deepening my understanding of how all the moving parts work in the legacy fiat system.
I don't see why the design of a freedom money system needs to be shackled to the parameters of a legacy system. Can we not just start with a blank sheet of paper, from the genesis of #Bitcoin onwards?
It also makes sense to me that a third-generation blockchain relaunching as 2.0 PoS in 2024 (think iPhone 15 Pro Max) could be more advanced than a first-generation blockchain launched in 2008 (think iPhone 3GS). Even though the later models are undoubtedly standing on the shoulders of the giant earlier models.
Obviously, my viewpoints are not going to win me any popularity contest on here. But many #cypherpunks were sceptical when #Satoshi first shared his whitepaper. And we are all Satoshi, right?
