I was born into a low-income family and worked incredibly hard to build a better future for myself. I managed to get into university, and during my studies, i worked part-time jobs and completed internships every summer to support myself. When i graduated, i easily found a job, but despite my hard work, my purchasing power is now much lower than when i was a broke student. This is because the Turkish lira has lost value due to poor decisions made by a handful of incapable people in the government. These decisions have financially punished people like me, even though we’ve done everything right.
