My proposal to how the UK can solve the Israel problem:
Make a second Balfour declaration to create another Jewish state on the Falkland Islands.
I believe creating a second Jewish state would do a lot to destroy the narrative pushed by Israel that they use to justify their actions, and that the Falklands are the perfect piece of land to do this.
What would this achieve?
1. Israel currently has a monopoly on the Jewish ethnostate market. They use this to claim they represent Jews as a whole. This would not be possible if there was another Jewish state.
2. Many Jews in Israel like the "Jewish State" part but not the "Living in a warzone" part of Israel. This could cause a sizable population drain on Israel as many Jews relocate.
3. Competition brings innovation. The 2 Jewish states would have to actually provide for their population. With a lot of Jewish people torn between the 2, you could see them competing on tax rates, passports, rights etc. to attract the Jewish people.
4. Many jews reject the State of Israel outright because they reject the creation of a Jewish state in the holy land on religious grounds. These include Hasidic and some other Orthodox sects. They would not have such an objection to a homeland in the Falklands.
But why the Falklands?
1. It's actually much bigger than you'd expect. It has over half as much land as Israel and much more in territorial waters
2. Almost completely uninhabited. The islands have a total population of 3,662. It wouldn't take any forceful relocation to make it a Jewish state. You could give all of them a million dollars to relocate for less than a 10th of the US aid given to Israel.
3. Genuinely politically workable. The Falklands are under British control but it's contested by Argentina. Currently in Argentina, Milei is gesturing towards taking back the Falklands to appease the nationalist right, while having no interest in actually fighting for it. Argentina has a large Jewish population at 170k, and Milei is seemingly one of them with his weirdly fetishistic support of Israel. If the UK Balfours the Falklands, Milei could absolutely spin that as a win, saying it's now a homeland for 170k Argentinian Jews, and no longer under the rule of the British.
4. Argentina was one of the original locations considered for a Jewish state before they decided on Palestine. The Zionist movement is entirely a nationalistic project rather than a religious one and basing it out of Palestine was not a given.
5. It has no natural resources to speak of, so neither uk nor Argentina is giving up a whole lot.
6. No where for them to invade, if they are an island in the ocean with no small countries around.
