You would think that a politician would simply say that Congress should not pass ANY law that violates non-violent free speech and freedom of basic action, such as trying to ban non-violent protests or block people from advocating for boycotts.
But hey, that would be common sense, and would indicate a commitment to the oaths they swore when they went in to office.
