The world doesn't need to know who Satoshi was.
Bitcoin isn't a commodity, it never was, and "The Bitcoin Community" must become irrelevant, like the old Home Brew Computing clubs did.
Bitcoin is not an asset class, and it never was. What it is will be made clear to many, very soon.
The trajectory of Bitcoin will follow the trajectory of the other world-changing innovations, and so will the reaction to it and management of the public’s access to it.
The web, Smart Phones, Internets, LCDs, GSM…all of these and more will coalesce into a single world-changing event, in effect superficially different but similar to events centuries ago when sound money was everywhere.
Even the most trained people, historians, economists and people as close to Bitcoin as it is possible to be cannot see what is coming.
And that is a good thing.
It is a good thing because people don’t want the world to change, especially if they are very comfortable. If the world goes on as it is for another 40 years, why should they care?
In a phrase, the attitude is, “NO URGENCY”. And it’s completely understandable.
Nevertheless, it’s going to happen. Bitcoin dominance is coming, whether anyone likes it or not.
And that’s a good thing!
