Ugh. Today is the birthday of a person who is known mostly for portraying a beloved character but is himself an odious piece of crap who is on record as despising his Trekkie fans, queer people, and autistic people. He's a terribly flawed human being, and you don't need to celebrate him just because you like a show he was lucky enough to get to work on. In fact, your friends who see how awful he is might notice you like the guy who seems to live for hating on them, and think if you like him you probably share his views of them. So, who are you going to stand with - the hateful actor, or your friends who he devotes his life to tearing down? Oh what am I saying?
