The German word "ja" means "yes". But depending on when and how often you use it, the meaning can change:
- Ja? = Really?
- Sag ich ja! = That's what I said!
- Du kümmerst dich drum, ja? = You'll take care of it, will you?
- Jajaja = Alright, I'm doing it already.
- JAAAA! = I DID IT!
- Jaaaa? = What was it you were going to say?
- Jaa, jaa, jaa = Of course you did, sure! [ironic]
- Jaja = The hell you did / I will [some people will tell you it means "kiss my ass" 😎]
Enjoy our language, ja?
