Something I noticed after I finished my degree:
When looking for a job and you're asked about what you studied, under no circumstances mention any humanities courses.
The moment I mentioned philosophy or ethics (Ethics of Computing was a requirement for graduation at Pitt if you were in the comp.sci program), the interview was over.
I even applied for a few jobs that I didn't want just to test this hypothesis. It works repeatably.
This says much about working in tech these days.
