It's not completely related, but in the context of microservices I always ask what happens when a service X is not available. How front-end and other services deal with it.
Because that will happen eventually. It's not a matter of "if" but "how often" instead.
It's weird to me that some colleagues believe in perfect networks and 100% uptime, and never question that belief.
