#boardgames update- Catan is really cool and works for us - almost no arguments, the trades don’t turn into shitshows and the kids grasped it very quickly. In fact they won 100% of the games so far. Not sure if we got the settlements building right though - when someone buys a road and a settlement in a single turn, can they plant those anywhere, as long as the nearby building distance is kept? Or is one supposed to attach them to already owned paths? Either way, was very fun.
