This is so egregiously stupid as to be political malpractice. DeSantis denies ignoring her call, but correctly points out she's not the person to call on aid. She could have just said, "I'm here if they need me." But no.

And btw, the insane inconsistency of stating that she's not responsible for FEMA's lackluster response to Hurricane Helene in NC but she is the person to call on FEMA response to Hurricane Milton...well, it boggles the mind.
