"content": "Been working on a little project for the chicken run. Our chicken run is pretty large, with a coop inside it. The chickens have mostly made the large run area pretty bare of grass, etc. I made a rudimentary, very small box, with cedar posts and chicken wire, filled it with compost, then threw some daikon radish seeds in it. From that test box, i've been harvesting some nice sprouts for the chickens. The plan is to move the box around within the run after the sprouts are done, let the chickens pick through the pile, and start a new pile. The test worked well, and i have built 2 larger boxes for this purpose.
