I haven't posted in a while, taking an enforced break from social media and endless scrolling.

Even though Nostr doesn't give an algorithmically curated feed meant to manipulate engagement with intention of gaining some clicks on ads to send traffic to offers wanting my money, it's still an act of scrolling through content.

But I'm back now and this time I hope to share more personal stories from my life and see if I can meet some real people on here and make friends.

I love the posts and memes about Bitcoin and why it's a great currency but almost everyone I follow on here talks about that too. Lots of posts about Nostr too and I appreciate those as well. I'm learning so much about how this protocol works and enjoy seeing all the many various apps that are coming up and in production.

And zaps that one can earn simply from creating content that adds value to the reader's lives.

But I'm missing the personal connection that I got from when I first joined Facebook and had proper conversations about personal things.

Maybe I can find that here? Tell me more about you please, I'd love to know more.
