Well, my wonderful OB GYN is retiring at the end of the year. It's definitely not because she has gotten too old to do the job. We spent my last two well woman visits just talking about the state of medicine and society-fortunately there wasn't much to discuss with my health-- and it seems like the wilful ignorance and cruelty are just more than she can deal with.
I will miss her very much, but I completely understand her decision.
