2. Mmm… I may need a few packets, maybe there are backports?
3. Backports are not enough and out of date, I will enable the testing repository and apt-pin the packages I need.
4. Too many depedencies, too much trouble, let’s upgrade to testing. But no Sid !
5. Well, a few packages seem to be held in Sid. Let’s fetch them.
