NZ Labour have been actively pushing their more troublesome members out of the party, knowing the only place they can go (if they want to support an established party with MPs) is the Greens. The result is Green membership and power positions being stacked with soft Labour supporters, who don't really know or care about Green values. They have no sense of solidarity with the core Green membership, who get disillusioned and leave. A viscous cycle.
