Hmmm... here's an interesting (by which I mean worrying) report about bogus components being found in aeroplane engines....
Let's not forget that a faulty O-ring was behind the Challenger disaster. And while, at the moment these parts seem to have been in less critical locations in the jet engines, falsified air worthiness certification would lead me to wonder what else was being supplied that might not be fully put to specification?
