Every Bitcoin they hold is at risk because they don’t actually hold it. Custodial exposure is a ticking time bomb—BlackRock, Coinbase, and whoever else is playing the middleman game are just centralized points of failure waiting to get rugged.
Saylor, Musk, and the rest are just temporary stewards of Bitcoin at best. If it’s not in self-custody, it’s not yours. And when push comes to shove, we’ll see how much of that “$800 billion profit” actually belongs to them.
