#1 Denshi Video fan (nprofile…85cl) tomato: 2025 edition (nprofile…gfl4) nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqg3up5gsrmfxwktfzdz9s3eq3nh5hj4s95dq9t6cct8trmzx5h60s7gf7jv (nprofile…f7jv) the salary calculation is incorrect, however if you take gold prices of the time into account, that many oz of gold per year is actually a lowball estimate for what they would've been paid, and if you're pegging the compensation to gold specifically, the modern equivalent of the salary estimate is also lowballed.

Taking that $57,999/year salary and converting it into gold (using the gold prices [here](https://www.macrotrends.net/1333/historical-gold-prices-100-year-chart) sampled at April of 1915), we get ~95oz of gold per year.

If you were pegging the value of compensation to gold, rather than commodity price averages as is commonly done in inflation calculators, that 95oz of gold would come out to $198,137.7 in April of 2022 (the gold price has only increased since then)

The screenshot sort of depends on how much you value the gold standard as opposed to other metrics
