GM Nostr! 🌞
A year ago today I made the call to shut down my startup. I had raised 800k, and I had a team of 5 people at the time. While it was a gut-wrenching decision, it wasn't a hard one. I had super supportive investors and a great team but the follow on funding just wasn't there for what we were building.
What's funny, is that when I look back on that period (and the hundreds of investor meetings I took in the months running up to that decision), I don't feel sad or angry, I feel happy and calm.
My company failing was what led me to Nostr. I had the time and the space to dig in and really understand the nascent protocol, which made the decision of going all in so early a no-brainer for me.
So today, on the anniversary of the death of my last company. I'm feeling very grateful. Grateful for the opportunity it gave me to find this protocol and this community. 🫂
LFG and build the future! 🚀
