control breathing, control heart rate and involuntary hiccup cant happen. i broke it down into about a one minute exercise.
1. take a deep breath to capacity.
2. exhale it all
3. inhale slowly to capacity over 10 seconds.
4. hold breath for 10 seconds.
5. exhale slowly over 10 seconds and release all air.
repeat if necessary but usually works first time when id use the technique on people at the bar.
