Yeah, when I first signed into it and played around for a few minutes I thought, “My God, this is just re-skinned Mastodon with less functionality.” 😩 This realization was followed by a sadness that everyone flocked to Threads… after turning their noses up at Mastodon. Like, you thought the one wasn’t good enough or worth trying but you were all willing to sign up for a nerfed version of it. 😭 And this is why we can’t have nice things.
