The Icelandic government just granted permits for 5 more years of hunting Fin whales and Minke whales !
Eating whales isn’t a tradition, this nonsense only benefits a small group of individuals that find interest in this barbaric and outdated hunt !
Less than 1.5% of Icelandic people actually eat whale meat which is the reason why most of it is shipped to Japan where it ends up in vending machine and dog food…
