I’ve realised that I’m actually really struggling with being perimenopausal and knowing I can’t have any more babies even if I wanted to. I’m feeling sort of envious of pregnant people which is so wrong as I’ve had my turn at childbearing. I guess it’s just that it’s so out of my control… and I loved being pregnant, breastfeeding and caring for infants, even taking postnatal depression into account. Just sad that part of my life is over, I guess
