"content": "I don’t think concubines were disposable. The law required a man to provide for any virgin he ”took.” That would include concubines. It’s really a matter of title. A wife would come from most likely a powerful and higher stationed family. Whereas a concubine may not. So a concubine probably wouldn’t inherit nor any of her sons. But she would be provided for. Or at least that’s how it appears. But the law was not always followed.",
