"content": "🚨 ARTHROPOD OF THE DAY 🚨 \n\nAsota egens is a species of noctuoid moths in the family Erebidae. Asota egens is distributed from Japan southwards to northern India and Southeast Asia, and eastwards to New Guinea. The larva is known to feed on Ficus species.\n\nAsota egens is pure yellow overall body, but some individuals have a slightly brownish color. The lower body has several large black spots.
