What is with these founders trying to rope critics into phone calls!? The same thing happened to me. I wrote a blog post about a new programming language (Dark) and one of the founders DMed me on Twitter asking for a phone call or video meeting (multiple times).
Instead I asked for their response in writing & offered to add it to my post.... but they never sent it. They wanted to debate in private only I guess.
Truly bizarre.
