but for regular normal everyday people, 100C is an okay estimate, right? you know, when you measure water temperature all the time when you do that thing where you measure the temperature of water so that you can boil it which is something you do all the time everyday regularly? when you measure the temperature of water instead of just observing that it is or is not boiling? definitely wouldn't want some random arbitrary value like 212 for that purpose because you measure the temp of boiling water all the time its like so common how often you measure water boiling thats why you need it to be a really easy to remember number like 100 because you measure water boiling so often its so hard ugh ugh its so tough to remember values besides 100 for things like water boiling something i do every day on a day to day basis its so frequent i just have to have it be 100
