It seems like average temperature measurements this year so far already outpace those of just last year by much more than those of last year outpace those of any previous year. Like average temperature has gone +0.2-0.4C over just a year.
Is this trend in line with the CO2 heat absorption models? Even considering exponential feedback loops such as permafrost melting, albedo loss etc.
Or is the exponential acceleration more likely to be caused by more potent greenhouse gasses (namely CH4), whose usage has increased much more over the past couple of years - but also that hopefully stay in the atmosphere much less?
