despite really enjoying music making when it is programming code in #SuperCollider and when it is based on a fully libre open source stack, I still think #Renoise is such incredible piece of software - i needed a synth sound and was able to come to almost fully featured instrument using single waveform (light saw) and just adding filters and effects in the instrument chain - both as modulators/adsr and effects. I hope one day they'll release the source code.
