For that car, it plugs in on the left side under the dash. I believe most cars put it there.
Suggestion - if you just want to scan the codes (and perhaps reset them) - take the car to a local auto parts store. They will do it for free. Plus that way you can see where the plug is. Took about 5-10 minutes when I did it a few years ago (had to get a worker not busy...).
